Marko £35M bid
From Lee Clayton

West Ham have received a bid in excess of £35million for Marko Arnautovic. The bid is from a Chinese club. They want to reject it. The wages will be amazing. Hard to keep him.

I think MP would have agreed and the others would know that he is here with the motivation to perform to trigger a summer China trip.
I see that as a positive outcome (ONLY if we have also lined up Maxi Gomez to come in of course).
I get the impression that players don’t get too worked up with this sort of stuff ... they know in the same situation they would do the same and take the money.

Re: Marko £35M bid
Awful news. Underminds Pellegrini's authority and underminds team morale. When a player announces with the forcefulness of Arnautavic that he is going, you know that mentally he is already gone. For what - a few more goals, more petulance, further antics, dressing room anger and supporter rage? I thought we had this wrapped up in the right way. How wrong was I.

Re: Marko £35M bid
It was mentioned somewhere yesterday that some of the peace treaty was us agreeing that if someone offers £45m by a certain date in the summer (June 30 maybe?) that he could go.
I expect that’s in there

Righto...

So we've cleared some (or all) of his gambling debts for him, then..? That'll work...

Clearly we learned nothing with Etherington.

Agree with you chap. Have been once since we left the Boleyn and after 45 years of supporting this Club it's getting embarrassing and tiresome with some of the parasites at the Club. This just takes the biscuit I would have let the bloke rot in the reserves.

Old pissed up Hugh says it is a 12 month extention with additional incentives, previously run until 2022 so 2023 now?

I'm going to get my brother to call my boss and tell them that I've had an offer to go elsewhere for 3 times the salary. The day after that I'm going to walk into my bosses office, wave at them, and go home.

Following this I'll then refuse to go to work for two weeks citing that my head isn't right.

Should see me get a nice pay rise and improved bonus I'd have thought.

I am guessing one or two tonight or maybe a few more showed the manager they need to leave the club asap.

I also feel Pelegrini needs to play a starting XI not a bunch of half hearted cunts.

Re: Marko £35M bid
Apparently it's the same length of contract as before but with more performance bonuses involved. He is still expected to leave in the summer.

Basically we are paying him extra to stay on till the end of the season.

Re: Marko £35M bid
Fucking great timing west ham.
Just got dumped out of the cup by one of the worst teams in the league.
So the answer is pay the shit cunt more money and a longer contract...
Thank fuck I don't go anymore

Re: Marko £35M bid
The club puts that on the website just after we go out of the Cup thinking it is ‘good news ‘ and will appease the fans.
All it proves is that no one in charge of the club understands football or football fans.
Spectacular o.g
